Our current state and rate of development is highly un-sustainable. The fossil fuel reserves are about to be exhausted in another 50 years.. The population is rising so fast that we neither have enough land to grow food nor do we have sufficient facilities for drinking water..
To create jobs for more people, more industries are being setup. These industries are eventually dependent on raw material extracted from the earth (like iron, chemicals, silicon) and are sucking out material from the earth at an unbelievable pace. And all this is being done in the name of growth,
